What is membership? What do my membership dues pay for? These are some of the most frequent questions we hear at the Association. You may be thinking those exact things now. Please click through the association benefits listed below to find out how to get the most out of your membership dues.

When you join the Columbia Board of REALTORS®, you become a member of part of a 3-way network. Your dues are split between your local (CBOR), state (MR), and national (NAR) associations.

  • 3-Way Agreement
The REALTOR® Organization is a federation, or in other words, a union of other organizations. It is comprised of member associations that are local and state associations of REALTORS®. The federation is formed by what is known as the “3-Way Agreement”, what that means is all local associations and its members are also members of the state association where their local Board is located. Members of local and state associations are automatically members of the National Association of REALTORS®.

Many members find that showing a home they have already toured makes a first time client showing much easier and effective! Agents hosting tours are welcome to post the tour time and date into Flexmls any time prior to Tuesday evening of that tour week.
