Starting this month, you can now read letters from City Manager John Glascock throughout the year in the City Source newsletter! Here's his letter for January:

City of Columbia residents,

It’s been a great year with a lot of change and I’m honored to serve as your city manager.

The new year is always a good time to set new goals so I encourage you to consider being more involved in our community. That can mean applying to be on a City board or commission, volunteering at a local organization or attending a city, county or school board meeting. While City staff work to improve our community, it’s really the community that drives the city forward.

Personally, I’m always trying to do better and evaluate the way we do our work to see if improvements could be made. We have new suggestion boxes in many of our City facilities and on CoMo.gov and I want to hear from you. If you have constructive feedback about ways we can improve, I want to hear about it.

I wish you a happy and healthy 2020 and I hope to hear from you soon at an event or through a submitted comment.
